DS#139 ~KEEP CALM~

Hi there. It's time for a new Deconstructed sketch.

I am a big fan of the KEEP CALM sayings, so when I saw this stamp and die set from MFT I just had to have it.

I hope you like my card.....

It's kind of CAS, don't you think. Very under-embellished for my liking, but it's been one of those weeks where quick is good.

I think it will make a good  teen birthday card for all the parties my girls get invited to.

I have recently learnt how to use my Silhouette machine and I am very proud to say that I not only cut out my card base including fence and sky, but also cut out Luka and the sentiment too!

DS#137 AN AUSTRALIAN BIRTHDAY

Hi there.

It's time again for a new Deconstructed Sketch.

We celebrated Australia Day here a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd colour up this cute little LaLaLand Luka stamp to celebrate.....

You can't get much more Australian than this cute little guy in his akubra hat with his koala friend. And did I mention how grateful I am to call this lucky country my home.

I nearly forgot to mention, my card may look like an ordinary everyday birthday card to you but it is actually pretty special. I followed Debbie Pamment's tutorial on cutting digital images with the silhouette machine and I still can't really believe it, but I DID IT! No more fussy cutting.
