INSPIRATION MONDAY ~WINTER~

Our theme this week over at La La Land Crafts is Winter. It's Spring here in Australia, but the weather is still very wintery where I live, so it is a fitting theme for me.

I used perfect pearls to colour the snowflakes on the die cut frame, and B99 copic marker to color the outer edge of the frame.

The snowflakes within the frame are cut out of ivory felt, and the cardstock background within the frame has been sprayed with glimmer mist to give it a pearly blue sheen.

"TEE IT UP" ~DS120~

It's time for a new Deconstructed sketch. Wow, we are already up to sketch 120! 

I decided this week to use one of the many, many digital images that i have printed but never coloured.

This sweet golfer is from Saturated Canary. I colored her with copics, and used one of my favorite MME paper pads.

Here is Jen's awesome sketch....

I tried really, really hard to angle the image and the patterned paper strips, like in the sketch, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, no matter how hard I tried. Sorry Jen.

DS #119 STEAMPUNK MARCI

It's time for a new Deconstructed sketch already. Wow, what a busy week. With the girlies on 3 weeks holidays time just seems to fly.

Here is my card.....

I've tried a few different things this week. It's totally different to my usual style, but I'm kind of happy with how it turned out nonetheless.

I've used glimmer mist, frantage embossing powders, and distressing with inks and a blade.
