MY BIG GIRL

Only one more sleep until my big girl ( annabel, 14) arrives home from three weeks student exchange in Thailand. She has had an absolute ball over there, but has suffered fairly badly from homesickness.Before she left i made her this cute little concertina mini album to take with her that she can display next to her bed. There are photos of all of us on the inside. She loved it. Can't wait to have her home tomorrow.

By the way, some of the things i used were.... lots of washi tape, penny black stamp, copics, kindy glitz..

And last but not least, a big congrats to my friend Lorraine, who won this months Copic Oz challenge. You deserve it. Well done.

AS PROMISED

Lucky DD#4 was home sick from school yesterday. That meant i got to colour. Yay. Not yay that she was sick though :-( 

So here are my 2 favourite new stamps. I actually coloured a third image, but the card thing isn't quite happening with that one so not ready to share just yet.

Here are the other two. Hope you like them.

And the other, both Christmas...not far away.

 

I have around 60 cards that i give to family and friends. Maybe i should just choose a special few to receive copic ones. :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRIET

Last Friday was DD#2's 13th Birthday! A big milestone for her considering she was so unwell for the first few years of her life. She loves to scrap, and colour with (my) copics of course, so i used a supercute Penny Black stamp to make her card. It's an easel card, and she LoVES it! Happy Birthday Harriet.

Now off to hopefully do some colouring before the munchkins arrive home from school.A box-full of Stampavie stamps just arrived at The Imagination Factory today, and i just had to bring some home!

Just too busy

Really. I can't believe 2 weeks has zipped by. The few cards i have managed to create have been given without first having a chance to take a pic. Long story, but i have LOST my camera charger!! So finally had to give up and buy a generic one which isn't really very good but does the job i guess. Then my camera has been at work taking photos for the shop, which is a good thing except the work computer is playing up and won't open any files Grrrr.

Anyway, life goes on. Thought i'd better at least show something, so here is a layout of my 4 beautiful girls, just for something a bit different.

Hopefully there'll be time for a little more creativity sooner rather than later.
