A VERY SWEET DS71

Hi there,

It's deconstructed sketch reveal time again. This week's sketch is designed by teamie Lori Boyd, and it was such an easy sketch to work with. All I did was leave off the circle embellishment and then it was perfect for my image.

I've been wanting to purchase the big Anya stamps from TGF since they were released a few months ago, and finally they've arrived. I've used Anya treats for my card, with a combo of papers from 3 different companies.

I hope you like my card.
Please check out my fellow design team members for loads of inspiration

I'd love to see you join in with DS 71 this week. You can link up your card on the Deconstructed Sketch blog HERE

On a side note, you may remember my card from last week was a baby shower card. Well, we had a wonderful afternoon and i'd love to share the cake i made and decorated for the Mummy to be. I know it's not scrapbooking or stamping, but it's still craft related, right?

Although i'm just starting out I am enjoying this new hobby just as much as paper crafting.

Thanks for listening to my extra long post.

Hugs,

Tracey.

Happy 40th Birthday Julie

Last weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating my gorgeous friend Julie's 40th Birthday with her. Not only is Julie a wonderful person, she's also an extremely talented card maker.
Bearing that in mind, it took me a long time to make her card. In the end I still wasn't completely happy with it, but simply ran out of time.
I used Creeper Riley from TGF and colored her with copics.

I hope you like my card. I'll be back later today with another new deconstructed sketch.

Thanks for stopping by.

DS 69

Wow, this last week has flown for me. It's hard to believe it's Thursday already, and time of course to reveal this week's Deconstructed Sketch.

I absolutely loved this weeks sketch, and I am sure it will become a regular for me when I need a quick card.

This is the first time I have used TGF's Creeper Madden, and I have decided I really love her. These are also some of my favourite papers from LYB. They are bursting with color, just like CC Madden.

If you are wondering how I colored her hair, I made a tutorial a while ago for The Greeting Farm showing this technique. You can check it out HERE

This month at THE DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH ,we warmly welcome Cresta Woodruff , guest designer. It's lovely to have her join the team for the next few months.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team too, where you're sure to be inspired.

I hope you have time to join in the fun this week.

DS#68

It's Thursday, which means time for this weeks Deconstructed Sketch.

I had lots of fun with this one. Just for fun I rotated the sketch 90 degrees. You'll see what I mean below.

And here's my take on the sketch........

I used The Greeting Farm's Latte Anya, and some Patterned Paper from Echo Park. The sentiment sticker is from Simple Stories.
Anya is colored with Copics, and I have given her hat a textured denim effect by using a cloth soaked in colorless blender once i have finished colouring  the hat.

Please pop on over and check out all the DT blogs, where you are sure to be inspired to join in this weeks sketch, at  THE DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH

WHITE OUT CHALLENGE

Hi there,

The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Challenge this week is to create an all white card with the exception of a colored image if desired. Being a rather colourful person i struggled a little but was quite happy with my end result.

I used TGF's Lovey Dovey Amelia, and colored her with very few copic markers. I actually found this card rather difficult to photograph, i think because it is so white.

I've linked my card up to the FFF challenge on TGF BLOG

See you tomorrow for DS 68. I can't wait!

JUST FOR FUN

I've been waiting for what seems like forever to ink up my new GREETING FARM goodness. Do Si Do Anya is one of my new collection and i have made this card purely for fun. I didn't add a sentiment, so that when i do decide who to give it to I can decorate the inside and include a sentiment.

I've used one of my all time favourite paper ranges from Simple stories. The red gingham is actually just the reverse side of the denim floral. As the background is rather busy i thought i'd best not add too many embellishments, so it's quite a plain card for me for a change.

I've used the following Copic colours....
E000, E00, R30
YR20, E31, E35
R35,R37, C1
B32
Black spica

Gee it feels good to be crafting again.

I might even finish off another image and enter a challenge or two.

Thanks for stopping by.
