My lovely Dad will celebrate his Birthday next weekend while i am over in LA at CHA. He is so kind, caring and generous, and tells us that he loves us all the time. This is his card. Hope he likes it.
Happy Birthday Dad. We love you.

One last quick card before our holiday officially ends and i have to start packing up a months worth of "stuff".
I think this will be my last post for a little as it'll be super-busy over the next few weeks with back-to-school and off to CHA.
Another sketch challenge for the greeting farm. I actually quite like her.
Her glittery tail and the flower centre haven't photographed too well, but i still like her anyway.
See you later,

By now you're probably thinking i really don't like having my children around but that is REALLY not the case! I absolutely ADORE all 4 of my beautiful girls, but i also enjoy the opportunity to peacefully scrap the day away with no arguments, tantrums, or tears.
Today just happened to be another one of those days, with DH taking everyone to the new Zipline at the Otway Fly, and kindly leaving me behind.
So, i started off with some colouring, while the natural light was at its best, and then made some of the coloured images into cards. This one i entered in a challenge at The Greeting Farm. Hopefully Annabel won't check out my blog, as this is her 15th bday card, which isn't actually until April. So unlike me to be ready so early!
Have just taken 2 big girls to see the 3rd Meet the Fockers Movie. Probably not as funny as the first 2, and definitely NOT for younger ones.
Off to make a few more cards before bed,

Hi there,
I made this card for a sketch challenge at The Greeting Farm. I don't usually work from sketches, but was kind of happy with the outcome. Next time though, i'll have to "think small" from the beginning, because the card just kept getting bigger and bigger as i went, and is HUGE. Well, for my standards, anyway.
February's ATC's are done and dusted, now for March! There's something to be said for Summer holidays. Who needs sunshine?
Thanks for looking,

Well, my plan worked. I managed to find things to occupy the girls for quite a few hours today, so that i could make some cards! Seven cards, actually. I am most proud of myself. I don't really like them all, but today was about quantity more than anything. I was inspired by a recent Greeting Farm challenge where the sketch was a round shaped card. So here they are....
The above mentioned girls are now patiently waiting to watch a movie with me, so must go now.
bye,
tracey.
I love this little fish from The Greeting Farm. I used him on my ATC's for this month and will show you them soon. I coloured an extra one using BG's and Y's for the copic oz summertime challenge .The challenge was to use greens and yellows to colour a summertime image. I know my little fish looks very blue, but thats because i used blue-green copics, which is ok i think.
Hope this link works as its the first time i have tried something like this. Fingers crossed.
Unfortunately, you can't really see the lilac spica pen i have used over the violet copics on the fishies fins. Oh, and the crab is an October Afternoon stamp. It was a leftover from my 13 yo daughter's ATC's for this month too.
It's still raining here at Apollo Bay so hopefully that means lots of scrapping and cardmaking over the next few days. Now i just need a clever idea how to keep the kids occupied.
thanks for looking,

Better late than never is a common motto of mine! Christmas was well and truly enjoyed by all here, and the New Year was welcomed in with friends here at the beach. I'm finally able to indulge in a little scrapping time, but the mojo isn't really happening right now :( Nor the ability to take good pics of what i do happen to make ;( I have a lovely new lens but it's taking me a while to get used to.
Anyways, it's been WAY too long since i posted, so here it is, albeit a bit of a boring post. Thought i'd show a pic of a card i made just before Christmas that i like. The background is a piece of real origami paper from Japan, that Fiona and i picked up on our way home from CHA last year. I thought it matched the Japanese image really nicely.
That's all for now. I also have a card for the copic oz challenge but will have to wait 'til daylight to photograph it.
Hope everyone enjoyed the festive season.
