BON VOYAGE ~DS107~

Tomorrow we say  farewell to our gorgeous 17 year old daughter. She's bound for Boston on a year 11 school trip for the best part of two weeks. We are all going to miss her so much.

So today my Deconstructed Sketch card is for her.....



I've used  a Saturated canary digi image and October Afternoon Travel Girl papers and stickers. The paper even has New York written on it, so of course I had to make sure not to cover it up.


Here's Jen's awesome sketch....





I think i'll use it again tomorrow to make hubby an anniversary card. 21 years tomorrow!

IT'S MY SKETCH ~DS106~

Every now and then the awesome Jen from the Deconstructed Sketch asks her DT girls to design a sketch and guess what? Yes, , today is my day, so I really hope you like it.

Firstly, here is my card.






It is for my new little niece. The image is a saturated canary digi. I kept the rest of my card fairly plain as I wanted to keep the image as the focus (and I was also in a rush)

And here is my sketch.

DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH #105

Hi there, I can't quite believe it's Thursday already, time for another Deconstructed sketch!






I used an older Lalaland digi stamp and colored her in copics. The papers are all doodlebug, and I have used lots of yummy MFT dies this week.

CALENDAR CATCH UP



At a retreat I was lucky enough to attend recently, I decided to catch up on a few months of my 6x6 calendar.

I wasn't going to tell you which month it is, but it's in the photo! oops!

I've used one of my fave Saturated Canary digi images and colored it in copic markers.






I've been watching the awesomely-talented Alyce's youtube videos (her link is in my sidebar). This time I've given clouds, grass and pleats a go. I'm still learning, but I hope you like it.

Oh, and the matt is purple, not black. I seem to have trouble photographing cards that have a white base. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

DS # 104

Hi there.

I'm here with this week's Deconstructed Sketch to share.






I used a Saturated Canary rubber stamp from LDRS and colored her up in ladybird colours.

I struggled a little to find matching papers after coloring her, so I'm not entirely happy, but I'm sure my soon to be 8 year old niece won't mind at all.

So here's Jen's fab sketch......





I flipped it left to right but other than that kept it pretty much exact this week.
